Can’t Open WebM Videos?

I bought this to trim a small segment out of a WebM video. However, when I click the import button, I am unable to select my WebM video file (seems to restrict the file format you can select). Per the description, I should be able to “Convert WebM/VP8 video to virtually any SD/HD video format”. It appears this is not the case, which makes this app useless.

Addendum: I have just tried renaming the webm file with an mpeg extension, and it appears the app is able to open that fine. So, it seems like this is a bug; one that could have been very costly had I not thought of this workaround.
